Witches Sunday

Well Sunday came and the few pins who turned up to sort the set out were all aching from the day before. Again a lot of hard work was put in and we were aided by Valleys favourite Glenn Bowen who with his new haircut, looks like an extra from Schindlers List. Gav flitted from being a turn to being a pin, and he, Meinir and Sam pulled the bar out with the star cloth on. They struggled a bit, mainly due to the presence of the weaker sex, but Gav did try his best!

It is now getting a family thing as Ken brought his wife with him, it must be catching on. Talking of Ken, he walked into the band call, and just as Ralph was about to sing he shouted at Gav "your missus is looking for you". If looks could kill....

By mid afternoon the crew and Greg had marked out the scene changes and we were ready to run the technical rehearsal. I am speaking from a turns point of view this week and I thought it went alright, quite smoothly actually, and it looked good from the front. A lot of problems were ironed out, Rhiannon got caught on the border bar when she was flying and got stuck up there for a while. As she said "my bits took a battering"..just a little to much information.

Due to the Parc and Dare shutting at six, we cut a few scenes to get to the end. When everything was done we all practiced the flying again. During this BGB said "Its okay I've already slackened Gaynor"...the mind boggles!

A big thank you to all the Pins who put in a lot of effort over the weekend to make sure that this show is a success, there was a lot of positivity going on. Thanks to Greg for not getting to stressed out with us and eveybody else who wanted to put their views across.

Finally a biggup to Julia, she is one of the witches but she was prepared to help us yesterday and painted the set today with Sam. For this she has been granted safety pin status. Mind you no wonder there is so much infection in the hospitals,if the staff take their theatre scrubs home with them to paint in.
