My Fair Lady - Wednesday

First of all I owe Sam an apology, it was Alison not Sam who nearly put the chaise into the orchestra pit. Sam would never make such an error being the professional crew member she is.

Onto last night and in the first change, the crew on stage right had problems putting the chaise on the right mark, they were looking for white marks and they had been changed to green, this meant that the chaise was in the wrong place again..the culprits were Glenn and, yes youve guessed it SAM!!!

Talking of Glenn and Sam, Glenn was heard to say to her "do you want the big end or the hard end!", Sam was most disappointed when she realised that the valleys favourite meant the chaise.

Again not a lot more to report on as again the mighty Hingepins pulled off another slick performance, which has been noted by several people...how we do it when Dan Black is with us still amazes me.

Jordan complained in the interval that he was bored, and that there was nowhere to sit on stage right. I have purchased him a ticket in the stalls for tonight, so he can be relaxed in between changes.

Andrew impressed one of the maids as he pinched a bit of cake off her tray as she walked on..then his usual show routine of farting started.

When Gav and Andrew were holding the pub flat, one of the turns (he is wearing Rupert the bear trousers) motioned with his hand for Gav to open the door for him. He was politely told to open the door himself ( well sort of).

Ali is proving to be one of the best swipers of curtains ever to have graced the Parc and Dare Stage. In fact she is so keen Meinir asked to Gav to tell her to slow down as she will swipe the cloth before we move the set. Remember the old chinese proverb Ali "Swipe to quick, crew look like dicks".

And finally we cant forget the teachers ,Miss Thomas spent most of the night on stage left, out of the watchful eye of Gav and Andrew, however at the end of the show she meant to say to the pupils "Get your costumes off", but standing right next to Gav she said " Right, get you clothes off"...I'll have you know I am not that easy, you will have to buy me a pint first.

And a second finally, Dan turned up ten minutes from the end having been to rehersals for Oliver, he is playing Bullseye. He was wearing regulation Aberdare white daps. He done one scene and caused chaos by making Gav fall over a chair

Keep up the good work Pinsters, and see you all tonight.
