Les Mis Wednesday

The middle night of the Victor Hugo classic arrived, with cast and crew ready for another top performance. Matt had plotted all the lights and had rigged up the smoke machines, his favourite toys. Although, I am disappointed that ceiling is not lit up in red, white and blue.

The start of the show was delayed as some people were fighting over seats, Andy the techie and Medium were sent into the auditorium to put a seat in. Medium with his head lamp looked like a Pot Noodle miner from Crumlin.

Cue bingo took place again, but Greg and Gav sorted out their own code words for when they should come in, especially when they are told by Bubs that they should go on a standby! The comedy moment of the night came when the fly boys hit a turn smack on the swede with the gauze. I don’t think she will be running on the stage like that again.

It was commented that the table with the cutlery on it looked good, and had a feminine touch it, well done Budji. Matt, for some unknown reason gaffa taped his finger to the smoke machine, filling the auditorium with so much smoke that you could taste it.

Suzi could be heard sniffling down the headsets at the end again; we weren’t sure if this was due to Valjeans departure to heaven or the lungful of hazer fluid swallowed.

The audience clapped along at the end, in panto style and this was made worse with Enjerolas throwing sweets into the audience. At the end of the show we made our way to the bar for a cheeky pint, and sat in the newly named “Sarah Eveson Homage Corner”

Couple of posers

1.Can the fly boys catch any more turns tonight?

2.Apparently Miss Roblin only smokes during the week of the show, I might try that, so its 52 shows for me this year then.

3.How long will the Heads speech take, I am going for 8mins 17seconds.

4.Will Rhys be presented with flowers or a gold watch for his long service to the school

5.Will any teacher be clipped by the mighty Andrew

All the best to everyone for the last night of the show, shame it’s the last night, I am enjoying this
