Jekyll and Hyde - Wednesday

Opening night of Treorchy Comps latest show, and yet again they pull it off!!. What a fantastic show, helped by a fantastic set and some top lighting by Matt.

We started on time, minus a follow spot as Kieran thought we started at 7.15!, Gav went up and was ready for his first cue, when Kieran turned up, Gav ran down the stairs picked up the chairs and walked on for the first crew cue, you couldn't have timed it better.

The show ran like a dream, opening night and everything was sweet. A simple equation.. No primadonnas plus good attitudes all round = a good show. Something to remember.

Daniel Stagg pulled off a fantastic performance, what a top guy, if he goes on to be a teacher he will be wasted.

We then set about putting the Lab on and off, and that went really well, and also looks really good. The only down fall was Andrew had a curry, and was not smelling to sweet, its hard work trying not to laugh as he cracks one out as you are holding the lab.

The orchestra are starting to develop suntans on one side of their faces as the pyros go off, some of them brought Marshmallows and toasted them.

Mrs Roblin was seen to shed a tear at the end of the show, but it wasn't the fact that it was a good show, it was because Bubs told her that he was applying for a job in the drama department.

Good to see Mrs.Marks (Miss Thomas to us) backstage with her little bump, quieter than usual, but the week is young!

Couple of Posers,

1.Will Sarah have a blonde night on the curtains tomorrow?

2.Will Rea enjoy watching rather than crewing?

3.Will Gav get called yet again to sort out unruly youngsters?

4.Will Andrew smell as bad tomorrow?

5.Will Bubs by the crew another pint tomorrow?

Well done to all Cast and Crew, keep it going
