West Side Story Get In

Yes here it is....a review, at last I hear you cry. This review is done with info from my backstage grasses, so readers if there are any inacuracies....tough tats.

A nice bright autumnal morning brought the Mighty Pins to the Parcan Glare for the get-in of Selsigs West Side Story. Under the guidance of Dr. Prosser they set about unloading a massive set off the lorry. Rea was there, but she said Matt was having a lie in after a busy night! See girls its always the boys who put the effort in!

Anyway, after it was all in, Greg bought the crew a sweaty pie and frothy coffee. There was some complaint that the froth was salty, had the Dr added his special gargle mixture to it?

The set was then built, although half of it was left in the girls dressing room,The crew was then sorted out and Sarah was delegated to go up to the followspot. Being a followspot virgin, she had a quick spot of training from Flash. I will reassure readers that she is quite artistic with lights, as I found out yesterday when I came home from work to find the bloody Christmas Tree up, as I told her “We are not living in Treherbert” she replied “I wish I was, I could have put it up before Halloween, like the rest of them” (One for you Helen H!)

The day trawled on, Lottie filmed everything that moved including BGB, who was gaffer taped to the chair, (Kay will flip her lid!) The bear was quite happy being tied up, unable to move and at the mercy of anyone, that was until Terry Lewis walked in.

Got to say you all done a great job today, it looks good.

Couple of questions

1.Will Julia re-choreograph all the dances, as there is scenery in the way?

2.Will Davron pull any of the cast off this week?

3.Will the Rea/Matt jokes persist?

4.Where was Kandoo man?

5.Will there be crusts on the committee sandwiches this week?

Good luck you mighty Pins
