As You Like It - Get in

The show season is well and truly upon us. With the summer holidays drawing to an end, Gav, Sam, Matt, Medium Tom, Tall Tom and Bubbles spent a sunny Saturday (bloody rare this summer) in the Parc and Dare lounge bar. Their mission, to build the set for Players Anonymous' latest Shakey number, As You Like It.

Fair play to Gordon Thomas he has knocked up a pretty good set, we then set about finishing it off with paint. However I think there was more paint on Gav and Sam, as a brush war started. Caroline kept us supplied with coffee and tea, as Matt played some classic eighty tunes over the sound system to keep the older members happy. Gav was assigned the task of cutting tree bases. There was much guffawing at Sam and Carolines comments about holding Gavs wood etc. Nothing has changed. Sam laughed hysterically as Gav couldnt get the jigsaw to work. He got it working once he had plugged it in.

Matt "Arty Farty Lighting" was up to his old tricks again with some spectacular lighting of the lounge ceiling, 8 parcans (6 on the ceiling, 2 on the stage).

Following a cracking lunch over Steves (chips, sausage in batter and curry sauce) we finished the set off by painting the floor various shades of a shitty green colour, whilst listening to Avenue Q.

Should be a good week....nice to get back into review mode
